
Our Mission: To find good, loving homes for the abandoned and abused animals in our community; and to reduce the problem of pet overpopulation through spay/neuter programs.

Pickens County Government Donation for 2007 is $14,000 (aprox. 6.5%)
The Rescue Ranch is located on 6 acres in Talking Rock offers temporary housing for 50 dogs and 20 cats awaiting permanent adoption.
All pets are spayed/neutered and receive vaccines prior to adoption.
All dogs receive AVID microchip identification prior to adoption
3,239 Animals have been placed into new homes in the last 5 years.
4,562 Spay/Neuter surgeries have been financed in the last 5 years.
The P.A.R. website receives over 4,200 hits per week.
SNAP (spay/neuter assistance program) offers $25.00 coupons for Pickens County residents requiring financial assistance for their own pet’s surgery.
SPAY DAYS – Special days set aside for private pet owners to have their pets spay/neutered for only $25.00 at our high-volume clinics throughout 2007.
