The mission of Pickens Animal Rescue is to find good, loving homes for the abandoned and abused animals in our community; and to reduce the problem of pet overpopulation through spaying and neutering programs.
Pickens Animal Rescue is pleased to announce the SNAP program for the residents of Pickens County. The SNAP program will allow us to help those residents that would not be able to afford to have their pet spayed or neutered without our help. You need to send in the application along with $25. Sending this in does not mean you are automatically approved. If you are approved you will receive a spay/neuter certificate in the mail - you can then proceed to make the appt with one of the local vets. If you are not approved your check will be returned.

Project CatSnip, a low-cost mobile spay and neuter clinic has been in existence for over five years and has performed over 35,000 quality surgeries. Our normal prices of $70 spay and $45 neuter includes an office exam, nail trim, anesthesia and pain relief. We do offer low cost shots and vaccinations.
