Sponsor a Pet

Can’t Adopt but would like to make sure a Pet is Rescued

Sponsor a Pickens Animal Rescue Pet

The amount of money we spend to get the pets healthy, current on vaccinations and altered is much more than the adoption fee we have - but want the pets adopted from us to be healthy prior to any adoption and already altered and get a wonderful home.  Because of this all of our pets need sponsors - but there are some very special pets that need them even more - we have special needs pets that need additional vet care than we can provide without assistance.  Please consider sponsoring a pet - one of our special needs pets, a pet a month, or pick a pet on our available pages and just let us know who you would like to sponsor.

Special Needs Pets

Some of our foster pets have individual needs that go beyond the scope of what we are normally able to do.  We strive not to have to put pets down because of a greater expense - that's where you can help.  Consider sponsoring a special needs pet or making a 1 time donation towards their care.  Any help you can give is tax-deductible and the help you give can save their life.

You can make a 1 time donation by clicking the button under their story or you can choose to sponsor a pet by selecting the information on the home page.

Nina and Buttercup

Nina and Buttercup are very sweet kittens that have had some medical issues. We have been working with them for awhile to treat the problems and continue to care for them.  It may be that they have herpes virus in their eyes that is causing the problems.  They need a special  home to work with them to get over the issues they are having or someone to help with the costs of their medical bills.  If you would like more information or are interested in fostering or adopting these 2 please email Mary at PAR@Littauer.com

Judd

Judd is a wonderful indoor kitty that must find new indoor home due to owner's health.  He was born June 5, 2005.  He doesn't miss the opportunity to run & play, even with his one eye. (Lost eye due to glaucoma as kitten)  Loves to snuggle & be brushed.  Would make wonderful companion for another energetic male cat or would love being center of attention by himself.   For info contact Sherry Higgins @ (706) 692-4075
